Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller BW Packaging Facility is seeking a Manufacturing Intelligence Engineer - SCADA to design and implement SCADA and industrial control solutions for customers' capital projects. This role works within the Perpetua Group to help clients improve performance on critical goals.

Expect heavy emphasis on databases, interfaces, data handling, scripting, and PLC programming; travel up to 50% domestically and internationally; strong collaboration with clients and project teams is essential

Qualifications

5+ years in system integration, SCADA and/or MES development.
BS in Engineering (Electrical or Computer preferred).
Strong knowledge of Rockwell FactoryTalk Optix & View; Ignition/Wonderware a plus.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for design and troubleshooting SCADA/MES/Analytics.
Familiarity with Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and .NET programming preferred.

Responsibilities

Design SCADA systems, databases, interfaces, data handling and reporting.
Develop software control algorithms and data structures; configure displays and transmission software.
Provide on-site startup support for integrated packaging lines and process systems.
Lead multiple scopes of work and coordinate with project management.
Communicate with clients to define scope and ensure delivery quality.
