Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller BW Design Group seeks a Manufacturing Intelligence Engineer - SCADA on the Information Solutions team to lead projects across multiple industry sectors, primarily focusing on SCADA, MES, IoT, data collection, reporting, or analytics.

Responsibilities include technical project execution, defining and managing scope, planning timelines, onsite startup, and mentoring other engineers. This role requires strong communication and the ability to travel as necessary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of System Integration, SCADA, and MES development.
• Proven experience with Ignition is a plus.
• Experience with Aveva Wonderware System Platform is a plus.
• Familiarity with Rockwell PLC and FactoryTalk.
• Strong SQL skills and MES software experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing IT infrastructure.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects within Information Solutions, focusing on SCADA/MES.
• Define scope with clients and manage project timelines.
• Design SCADA systems with databases, data handling, and reporting.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineers on large projects.
• Onsite startup of systems you designed and implemented.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
• Communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
