We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SCADA / HMI / Automation Engineer to support high-precision automation and control systems within regulated industrial environments. This role involves the development and maintenance of SCADA, HMI, and PLC systems to optimize process control, ensure data integrity, and support GMP-compliant operations.

Candidates with prior experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement SCADA and HMI systems using platforms such as Ignition, Wonderware, WinCC, FactoryTalk, or iFIX
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC logic across platforms including Siemens, Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Schneider, and Mitsubishi
• Configure communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC-UA/DA, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP for device integration
• Collaborate with validation, QA, and production teams to support automation projects in GMP-regulated environments
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities
• Implement data collection, historian integration, alarm handling, and control system interfaces
• Ensure all systems are compliant with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including functional specifications, logic diagrams, and test protocols

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in SCADA/HMI and PLC-based automation environments
• Strong technical expertise in industrial automation, process control, and instrumentation
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting control schematics, P&IDs, and I/O lists
• Hands-on experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and real-time monitoring
• Familiarity with batch processing, cleanroom automation, or validated control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within FDA-regulated, ISO 13485, or GMP-compliant environments
• Exposure to data historian systems such as OSIsoft PI, AVEVA, or Canary Labs
• Knowledge of MES systems, IIoT platforms, or cloud-based SCADA is a plus
• Experience with validation documentation: URS, FRS, IQ, OQ, PQ
