Job summary

Wabash Valley Power Alliance is seeking a SCADA/Networking specialist to install, modify, and maintain SCADA systems for member cooperatives. You will engineer projects, configure communications equipment, RTUs, IEDs, and perform system and network administration tasks across server and workstation environments.

The role requires 1–3 years experience in electronic technology and a solid understanding of computer networking.

Qualifications

Associate's degree required in Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Technology related field.

Responsibilities

Installs, modifies, and maintains the SCADA systems for the Member Systems and cooperatives, including engineering and managing projects, configuring equipment, and performing system/database/server/network administration duties.
Creates and manages software programs to address programming needs on systems.
Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN/Internet systems or segments of a network system.
Trains Member Systems personnel on SCADA operation and troubleshooting connectivity.
Monitor network to ensure availability and perform maintenance as needed.
May drive a service van and operate a forklift; may be required for outages.
Travel and overtime may be required.
