Job summary

Sligo Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to service customers across the United States from DeLand, FL. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair SCADA equipment and related systems, traveling frequently and providing hands-on technical support.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, networking, and control system issues onsite and remotely, configuring sensors and control panels, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting service reports for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in electrical/electronics/industrial maintenance/instrumentation preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, controls or related technical field.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, including low- and high-voltage wiring and basic networking concepts.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to work independently and manage travel schedules.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to install, commission, maintain, and repair SCADA equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, networking, and control system issues onsite and remotely.
• Install, configure, and test sensors, communication equipment, control panels, and related hardware.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and system performance evaluations.
