Job summary

Sligo Systems in DeLand, FL is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, maintain, and repair SCADA equipment and related systems across the U.S. You will travel frequently, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, networking, and control system issues, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred in electrical, electronics, industrial maintenance or instrumentation.
• Minimum 2 years in field service, industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting or related field.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the United States, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, commission, maintain, and repair SCADA equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, networking, and control system issues onsite and remotely.
• Install, configure, and test sensors, communication equipment, and control panels.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and evaluate system performance.
• Train customers on operation and basic maintenance of installed systems.
