Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a SCADA Engineer for our client in Plano, TX. The role focuses on developing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing SCADA systems using Wonderware OMI and AVEVA System Platform.

Independent project ownership from architecture to deployment is expected. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial SCADA, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel up to 20% for site work and commissioning.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in electrical/automation/industrial SCADA in production/manufacturing
Hands-on experience with Wonderware OMI
Hands-on experience with AVEVA/Wonderware System Platform
Independently develop and deploy SCADA projects from ground up
Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, implement, and maintain SCADA systems for industrial automation
Build complete SCADA projects from scratch including architecture, configuration, graphics, and deployment
Develop SCADA apps using Wonderware OMI and AVEVA System Platform
Configure System Platform components and modify HMI screens, alarms, trends, and dashboards
Travel up to 20% to service centers and customer sites for deployment and support
Collaborate with Automation, Electrical, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration
