Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a SCADA Engineer for a Renewable Energy / Battery Storage role in Austin, Texas. The position is on-site and offers a strong ownership of SCADA systems, overseeing hardware, software, and data interfaces across projects.

You will work across controls, software, and power systems from design through commissioning, leading technical development and maintenance of SCADA for renewable assets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming SEL systems and RTACs in substation automation.
• Experience with enterprise-grade SCADA for power systems.
• Strong PLC/logic control skills for utility infrastructure.
• Knowledge of SQL databases and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and commissioning of SCADA equipment on site.
• Develop and maintain site data communications and reliability for MET towers and data loggers.
• Provide off-hour support for emergencies affecting generation assets.
• Contribute to technical design reviews and supervise system integration tasks.
