Job summary

KNAPP is hiring for a Full Time Operations role at the KUS Headquarters in Kennesaw, GA. The position involves independently preparing projects, programming and configuring SCADA software, and maintaining commissioning documentation.

You will train customers on SCADA technology and coordinate tests and daily onsite activities with the team. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with solid knowledge of SCADA, OPC, Atvise, SQL, networking, and PLC concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Intermediate SCADA, OPC, Atvise, SQL concepts are expected.
• Intermediate networking concepts are required.
• Intermediate PLC and subsystems understanding is expected.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of projects as an initial stage of project implementation.
• Programming and configuration of SCADA software packages.
• Creation, maintenance, and improvement of commissioning documentation.
• Train customers on SCADA technology and support commissioners through feedback and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with supervisors to ensure daily processes are completed timely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with commissioners to remotely test relevant signals at customer sites.

Office:

• Independent preparation of projects as an initial stage of project implementation
• Responsible for programing and configuration of SCADA software packages
• Creation, maintenance, and improvement of commissioning documentation
• Train customers on SCADA technology and support commissioners through provision of feedback and collective troubleshooting
• Align with supervisor and collateral others to ensure daily processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Coordinate with commissioners to remotely test relevant signals

On-site:

• Abide by all KNAPP safety guidelines and regulations
• Align with supervisor and collateral others to ensure daily processes are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Train customers and maintenance team on SCADA technology
• Verify electrical schematics of the installation based on the final installation on-site
• Coordinate daily job duties at the customer site with all involved parties, the customer and internal departments
• Coordinate with commissioners to test relevant signals while on customer site

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Intermediate SCADA, OPC, Atvise, SQL concept
• Intermediate networking concept
• Intermediate PLC and subsystems understanding

Working Conditions and Environment

• Travel is required as follows:
  • 30-40% travel if traveling to the customer site or
  • 20% travel or less if relocating or local to the customer site
• Professional office etiquette is required at all times
• Physical requirements may include: sitting, stooping, bending, visual acuity, finger dexterity, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Passport or ability to obtain passport
