Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Distribution Automation (DA) systems and devices, including MOABs, Reclosers, Capacitor Banks, and their controllers.
- Set up and commission Sentient Fault Location Sensors.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and configuration records.
- Work in a lab setting to simulate and validate DA device performance.
- Support integration of 4G communication technologies with Operational Technology (OT) networks.
- Apply knowledge of SCADA systems and architectures to support automation initiatives.
- Utilize and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols, especially DNP.
- Configure and test Distributed Energy Resource (DER) inverters in a lab environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Distribution Automation and working with DA devices.
- Strong understanding of DNP and other industrial communication protocols.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and architectures.
- Experience with 4G communications and OT network integration is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a lab environment.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
