Job summary

The City of Santa Monica seeks an experienced SCADA/DCS specialist to design, analyze and maintain the City's SCADA applications and databases, including Wonderware InTouch, Dream Reports, and related systems. You will coordinate with City staff, consultants and vendors, manage projects and budgets and prepare RFPs.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining control equipment, developing reports, supporting end users, and providing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or closely related field.
• Three years of recent, paid work experience implementing and maintaining SCADA/DCS systems.
• Experience with Wonderware InTouch and Dream Reports is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain SCADA/DCS applications and related networks.
• Develop reports and queries for system users and prepare documentation.
• Assist in purchasing equipment, vendors liaison, and contract negotiation for SCADA systems.
