Job summary

Globalchannelmanagement seeks a SCADA Analyst IV to lead data-driven operational improvements in OT/SCADA environments. You will work with PLC data, cloud platforms, and analytics to ensure reliable data flows and rapid issue resolution.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex OT data issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying best-practice data engineering and programming to optimize energy systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (implied by experience)
• Minimum eight years' experience in SCADA or leadership role
• Experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware and OPC protocols
• Knowledge of SCADA, industrial communication protocols and OT systems
• Experience with Databricks, SQL, Python and Power BI
• Cloud technologies – Azure and/or AWS
• Understanding of end-to-end data flows in OT/SCADA environments
• Telecom/instrumentation knowledge within OT data flows
• Platform-agnostic SCADA experience (Ignition or similar acceptable)
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with safety prioritized
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Extensive SQL experience and data issue diagnosis
• Windows programming (preferred: Python, VBScript, Ladder Logic)
• Database development/management (preferred)

Job description

SCADA Analyst IV needs Bachelor's degree, a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a SCADA or team leadership role and experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware and OPC protocol.

• Knowledge of telecom/instrumentation within OT data flows
• SCADA platform: Platform-agnostic. Experience with Ignition or other SCADA platforms is acceptable, with greater emphasis on understanding the underlying data flow than on a specific platform.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Strong knowledge of SCADA and industrial communication protocols, including OPC, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, and related OT systems
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and analytics tools, including Databricks, SQL, Python, Power BI, and cloud-based data architectures
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex OT data issues, including data quality problems, communication failures, and system integration challenges
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of network operations and telecommunications
• Possesses extensive SQL experience and capabilities
• Possesses demonstrable understanding of various Flow Computer Protocols
• Experience in the energy industry
