Job Overview

Job Title: SCA Engineering Technician 1

Location: Warner Robins, GA

Relocation Assistance: No relocation assistance available.

Clearance Type: Secret.

Travel: No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, wires, and cables.
• Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools and jigs.
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed, and conduct inspection points on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.
• Repair, modify, and fabricate cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and complex electronic assemblies, component replacement, and printed circuit board repairs.
• Repair, modify and fabricate shop and line replaceable units.
• Utilize general purpose test and measurement equipment and tools, read schematics and wiring diagrams, and identify required tools, supplies and resources needed to maintain the work area as serviceable.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain all required soldering certifications and meet associated training requirements.
• Must obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level of clearance, if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of repair capability experience (i.e., fabricating, repairing, and modifying complex electronic assemblies, circuit cards, shop or line replaceable units, and wiring harnesses).
• Experience using controlled drawings and work instructions.
• Experience with the usage, assembly and repair of military grade pins, connectors, and associated tooling.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble electronic assemblies using detailed drawings, work instructions or Technical Orders.

Salary & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $17.75 - $17.75.

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
