Job description

Responsibilities

• Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that cannot be resolved solely by referencing manufacturer manuals, such as determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, and isolating malfunctions to component level.
• Performs engineering tasks such as circuit analyses, calculating waveforms, and tracing signal‑flow relationships.
• Uses complex test instruments, including high‑frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer‑controlled equipment.
• Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices.
• May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 6 years of electronics/electrical repair experience.
• At least 8 years of direct electronics/electrical repair experience with a high school diploma/GED may also be considered.
• Interim or active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance, or inactive clearance last active within the past 2 years.
• Ability to work any shift.
• Ability to work on‑site in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience in manufacturing automated test equipment.
• In‑depth understanding of the interrelationships of circuits.

Salary & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $32.26 per hour.
