Sodexo at MEDCOM-FORT STEWART is seeking a SCA Cook II to join our culinary team. You’ll prepare nutritious dishes, manage portions, and keep customer service at the heart of every meal.

We want team players with reliability and 3+ years of kitchen experience. Shifts vary, full-time benefits include PTO, health coverage, and opportunities for career growth within our dining program.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and focused on a healthy, safe work environment.
• 3+ years of related work experience in food service or kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare large quantities using various cooking methods for meats, fish, poultry and vegetables.
• Season, cook, and finalize gravies, sauces, soups, roasts, and casseroles.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and perform other duties as required.

What You’ll Do:

As a SCA Cook II at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You'll prepare and create nutritious dishes while putting customer service at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare large quantities, by various methods of cooking, meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables, seasons and cooks all cuts of various meats, fish, and poultry, boils, steams, or fries vegetables, makes gravies, soups, sauces, roasts, meat pies, fricassees, casseroles, and stews.

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
