Fehrer Automotive North America is seeking a Team Lead for the Welding Cell Assembly on the 3rd shift in Duncan, SC. This role supports assembly operations, ensuring efficiency targets are met and supervises welding activities with a focus on quality and safety.
The position requires a High School diploma, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with robotic welding systems; some training may occur off-site in ALBA, Georgia.

Please note that if selected for the role, any changes to pay will be evaluated and managed on a case-by-case basis at the time of conversion and position acceptance. This is a new position within the company that may require travel to ALBA in Georgia for additional training. Lastly, the pay for this position will align with standard production plus the additional $2/hour Team Lead premium.
This position is responsible for supporting assembly operations ensuring efficiency targets. Expected to manage and expose machine, personnel, and quality issues following defined escalation paths.

Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing environment. The individual will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities with regard to continuous improvement. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
