Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a Business Unit Controller to lead financial and accounting functions for the Americas Advanced Materials team. The role is mainly remote with some on-site work, and involves budgeting, reporting, cost accounting, and close processes.

You will partner with AP, AR, Treasury and the commercial team across the Americas to drive cost savings and profitability, delivering forecasts and annual plans.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting/Finance required.
• 4–7 years in accounting/finance in import/export or manufacturing.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with SAP and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting functions including general, AP, AR, and cost accounting.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and monthly close processes.
• Develop financial reports and profitability analyses.
• Support sales opportunities with financial validation in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with central finance teams and regional commercial teams.
• Provide cost-saving analytics and variance analysis.
