Job summary

AGRU AMERICA, INC. is seeking a Business Unit Manager: Controller to provide strategic financial leadership across budgeting, cost management, and performance reporting. The role drives manufacturing cost analyses, contribution margin reporting, and cost center accounting with ERP-driven processes.

The candidate will lead a Controlling team, develop standard costing in SAP, and deliver dashboards for executive management to improve profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in controlling, cost accounting, or financial analysis.
• Experience supervising a team (hiring, coaching, performance management).
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing cost calculation and cost-center accounting.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/period-end reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage an ERP-driven cost controlling organization, delivering standardized processes and reporting.
• Directly supervise and develop a team of controlling staff.
• Execute manufacturing cost calculations and contribution margin accounting using SAP standard costing.
• Maintain cost center accounting; allocate costs to centers and objects.
• Prepare standard and ad hoc reports for purchasing, production, warehousing, order processing, sales, and exec management.
• Analyze value flows and deviations vs. plan and prior periods.
• Prepare analyses and dashboards; ensure data quality and master data accuracy.
• Investment ROI calculations and support of investment decisions, budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles.
• Participate in process improvements in master data, pricing, and reporting.
