Chemtrade is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our remote US team. You will own month-end close for manufacturing, analyze product costs, inventory levels, and variances, and maintain standard costs with annual cost-roll processes.

You’ll build forecasts, budgets, and dashboards for leadership, reconcile inventories across multiple plants, and partner with Operations and Supply Chain to drive cost reductions while upholding controls and ERP improvements (SAP S/4HANA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• ERP experience (SAP S/4HANA preferred); advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Own month-end close activities for manufacturing.
• Analyze product costs, inventory levels, and production variances; translate findings into actions.
• Maintain and update standard costs, including annual cost roll processes.
• Build and deliver financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and performance dashboards.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and support physical counts across multiple plants.
• Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to identify and realize cost reductions.
• Uphold accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and ERP enhancements (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
