Job summary

Spring ISD Anderson Elementary in Spring, Texas is seeking a Structured Behavior Support (SBS) Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will support students with challenging emotional or behavioral needs, provide intensive social skills instruction, and collaborate with ARD to implement SBIEP in both general and special education settings.

The role requires a Texas teaching certificate with SPED endorsements, minimum Bachelor’s degree, and experience with students needing special education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements for assignments.
• One year of student teaching or approved internship.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with general education content area endorsement(s).
• Valid Texas ESL teaching certificate.
• Experience working with students eligible for special education supports and services.
• CPR and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements behavioral services with fidelity.
• Establish/maintain regular daily or weekly parent/guardian contact.
• Supervise data collection and analyze data to revise or refine student behavioral instruction.
• Organize SBS team meetings and share student data with team members.
• Provide staff development regarding the behavior programming for school personnel and parents.
• Supervise the work of SBS paraprofessionals.
• Maintain campus positive behavior supports and manage crisis situations.
• Attend monthly SBS Connections facilitated by district personnel.
• Implements instructional program and designs lesson plans.
• Serves as Case Manager coordinating ARD/IEP for each student.
• Ensures SBIEP alignment with standards and accommodations.
• Maintains confidential records and end-of-year reports.
