Job summary

Amcor is seeking an SBM Technician to oversee SBM machine processing and daily production requirements on a rotating 12‑hour schedule. The role emphasizes quality control, safety, and collaboration with maintenance to resolve issues.

The position involves following process guidelines, ensuring GMP compliance, and actively supporting production targets while maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Manual Dexterity to quickly move hand, arm, or assemble objects.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Forklift certification for safe OSHA-compliant operation.
• Ability to order actions in a set sequence.
• Good near vision to see details at close range.
• Flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach as needed.
• Fast finger, hand, and wrist movements.
• Coordination of multiple limbs during work.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds over head.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate SBM machine processing systems within guidelines.
• Collaborate with shift to maximize production.
• Ensure product quality matches customer specifications.
• Review daily production performance to meet efficiency goals.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance to fix mechanical issues.
• Maintain Food Safety Program (GMP).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
