Detroit Recovery Project, Inc. is seeking a full-time SBIRT Certified Peer Recovery Mentor in Detroit, MI to deliver brief intervention and referrals within our SBIRT program. The role emphasizes lived experience, compassionate coaching, and collaboration with clinical teams to support youth ages 12-21.

The position is grant-funded; certifications must be current at hire. Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with EHR systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in SUD or Behavioral Healthcare.
• Certified Peer Recovery Mentor (CPRM) or Certified Peer Recovery Coach (CPRC) certification through Michigan Certification Board of Professionals (MCBAP) or MDHHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and coaching to clients seeking help with substance use, with a focus on ages 12-21.
• Deliver brief intervention services and other direct services in a supportive environment.
• Data tracking and collaboration with other programs.
