Carta, Inc. is expanding its Fund Administration team in the United States. The Fund Controller will partner with private capital firms, including SBICs, to streamline financial accounting and reporting.

You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to grow Carta’s private capital product suite and mentor junior team members. The role emphasizes client relationship management, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement of processes, with equity included for

Formación

• Experience maintaining multiple client relationships.
• Ability to interpret Limited Partnership Agreements.
• Experience with SBIC fund administration, SBA compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience reviewing financial statements and footnotes for consistency.
• Experience with waterfall calculations and carried interest allocations.

Responsabilidades

• Interact with clients daily and manage strong client relationships.
• Oversee SBIC regulatory reporting and SBA compliance.
• Support capital calls, distributions, and quarterly/annual financials.
• Collaborate with product/engineering teams to enhance fund administration software.
• Ensure SOC compliance across processes and procedures.
