Job summary

nGAGE Talent Limited is partnering with a leading investment firm to hire an SBIC Director. This senior, fully remote role oversees a portfolio of SBIC funds, acting as the principal client contact and leader of the SBIC accounting and administration team.

The role focuses on SBIC and SBA compliance, fund accounting, and regulatory reporting, with a path to shape processes and client relationships within a growing platform.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working with SBIC funds and SBA regulations.
• Background in fund accounting, fund administration, or alternative investments.
• Experience with partnership accounting and Form 1065 reporting.
• Previous management or leadership experience; strong client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee administration of a portfolio of SBIC funds.
• Act as senior point of contact and trusted advisor to clients.
• Oversee SBIC fund accounting, financial reporting, and administration.
• Review SBA-related reporting and compliance requirements.
• Provide oversight of partnership accounting and Form 1065 reporting.
• Support SBA reporting and regulatory submissions; resolve complex accounting matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop fund accounting and administration teams.
