Job summary

GBC International Bank is seeking an SBA Relationship Manager to plan and implement sales and marketing programs targeting the business community. You will assist the lending team with SBA loan growth, analyze borrower credit, and prepare loan presentations for approval.

Success requires strong sales skills, customer service, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a full range of banking products to commercial clients in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree/Master’s Degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrated sales experience, negotiation skills, business development, portfolio management skills, accounting and/or financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Assists lending team in growing and managing SBA loans.
• Develops new deposits, cash management and bank services revenue.
• Works with clients to resolve account or service-related problems.
• Maintains ongoing visibility with client base.
• Promotes and sells establishment products and services to target customers.
• Cross-sells other products such as business checking, business credit card, and letters of credit.
• Develops or improves products and services based on performance.
• Acquires and grows profitable account relationships with moderately complex business customers and CRE investors/owners.
• Analyzes borrowers’ financial status and credit history to determine loan feasibility; prepares loan presentations for Loan Committee.
• Reviews loan files and agreements for completeness and policy compliance.
• Collaborates with team members to deliver strong customer service across products.
