Qualifications

• BA or BS in a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of job-related experience in SBA servicing or banking.
• Strong financial statement analysis and credit quality assessment skills.
• Ability to train and mentor new staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes complex financial statements and spreads to assess credit quality.
• Handles customer service calls and logs, and tracks requests.
• Documents loan files to support approved actions and reviews credit reports.
• Prepares and submits deferments for review and approval.
• Manages a portfolio of assigned SBA loans and exercises appropriate authority.
• Escalates delinquent loans 60+ days and initiates collection steps.
• Generates collection letters and reconciles misapplied payments.
• Reviews loan collateral and recommends actions to mitigate risk.
• Completes customer requests and sub-tmits draws and borrowing base certificates.
• Trains and mentors new employees; backups SBA Portfolio Servicing Manager.
