Qualifications

• 5+ years of operating heavy equipment (CDL is a plus).
• Identify tree species and assess safety risks during operation.
• Lean techniques and continuous improvement mindset preferred.
• Must be 18+ and able to work in a sawmill environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machine centers and equipment safely (front-end loader, backhoes, excavators, graders, dozers).
• Perform pre-use inspections and report issues.
• Relieve crane operators as needed and cross-train across machine centers.
• Maintain cleanliness and conduct basic maintenance and records.
