Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a heavy‑duty mechanic, preferably in a sawmill or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical skills with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; proficient with diagnostic tools.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working in variable weather.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance and perform repairs on heavy‑duty machinery and equipment used in the sawmill.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and plan repairs.
