Job summary

West Fraser's Opelika sawmill is seeking a Sawfiler Apprentice. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a minimum of 8 years in the sawfiling industry. You will perform assignments, operate equipment safely, and work rotating shifts with shift premiums.

Some overtime may be available. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 18, and maintain an excellent safety record. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with willingness to cross-train

In the Sawfiler role the expectation is that self-motivated individuals applying will have a minimum of 8 yrs. experience in the sawfiling industry.
