Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Saw Operator I in Minneota, MN to set up and operate a single-blade saw. You will read production scheduling sheets, identify materials, and ensure compliance with quality specs such as grade, size, and moisture.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, safe operation, labeling finished products, and maintaining records. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), at least 3 months of saw-related experience, and a basic math aptitude.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma GED is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment.
  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

  • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports problems.
  • Maintains production records as required.
  • Performs safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
