Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, saw operation, warehouse, or material-handling preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, drawings, material specs, and dimensional requirements.
• Ability to use tape measures, calipers, and basic measuring equipment.
• Basic understanding of raw-material identification and manufacturing traceability preferred.
• ERP or inventory-system experience preferred.
• Forklift, hoist, or crane experience preferred; certifications obtainable.
• Ability to train others and demonstrate work methods.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal and vertical band saws and related cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review work orders, drawings, and material requirements before cutting.
• Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions and quantities.
• Verify cut dimensions using measuring tools and ensure proper labeling and traceability.
• Perform ERP transactions for material issue, consumption, and inventory movement.
• Assist with training Materials Control personnel and maintain material flow to production.
