Caliberr Staffing is seeking an Industrial Saw Operator to join our Sterling, IL production team. You will manage high-volume cutting equipment to ensure precision parts are delivered on time, supporting meeting tight manufacturing deadlines.

The role requires 6+ months of hands-on machine operation experience, the ability to read calipers, micrometers and gauges, and a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety. Physical stamina is necessary for extended shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute production runs independently and keep equipment at peak efficiency.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections to meet engineering standards.
• Use micrometers, calipers and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Troubleshoot and make minor mechanical adjustments to reduce downtime.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders for accurate material processing.
• Maintain production logs and quality documentation for traceability.
• Support preventive maintenance and routine equipment care.
