Job summary

UFP Factory Built, LLC seeks a Saw Operator I to setup and operate a single-blade saw in our Haleyville, AL facility. You will read production schedules, select materials, perform setups, feed stock, and inspect outputs to meet quality specs.

You will maintain a clean, safe work area, complete pre-shift checks, record production data, and participate in safety and continuous improvement programs. Must be 18+ with basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment.
• Some experience in manufacturing and assembling preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a single-blade saw according to specifications.
• Read production scheduling sheets and identify required material.
• Feed material according to specifications and ensure quality compliance.
• Perform pre-shift startup checks and routine equipment inspections (LOTO as required).
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and accurate production records.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
