UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Saw Operator I to setup and operate a single-blade saw. You will read production scheduling sheets and identify the material required for each operation.

Responsibilities include ensuring material quality, performing setups, feeding material, and maintaining equipment safety. The role requires basic math skills, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work at least 18 years old.

Competenze

• High school diploma GED is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; manufacturing/assembling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Mansioni

• Ensures material meets quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content).
• Performs setups according to specifications.
• Feeds material according to specifications.
• Checks equipment periodically to ensure specifications are met.
• Offloads and stacks material following procedures; label/band components as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
