Job Title: Saw Operator

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate the saw to produce quality products, accurately and safely cutting metal to complete production orders.
• Perform duties according to the production schedule and floor manager directives.
• Maintain production equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Notify supervisors of mechanical or material issues.

Skills and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience with Shelling Saws, B&O Saws, Bandsaws, or Shears is helpful but not mandatory (training provided).
• Ability to work well in a team and be proactive with customer requests.
• Maintain a safe work attitude; forklift experience is a plus (training provided).

Physical Requirements

• Lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs.
• Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder, crouch regularly.
• Use hands and feet simultaneously, perform repetitive movements.
• Work in hot and cold environments.
