Job Title: Saw Operator

Forms+Surfaces is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural products used in public spaces worldwide. Our products include surfaces, walls, elevator interiors, litter & recycling receptacles, site furniture, and doors, all designed to foster creativity and provide practical solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Select and install blades on machines using hand tools.
2. Adjust controls to set speed, feed rate, and blade tension.
3. Secure and guide workpieces with fixtures, using hand tools and measuring devices.
4. Mark reference lines on materials based on blueprints, templates, or specifications.
5. Mount workpieces in holding devices manually or with a hoist.
6. Operate saws to cut along marked lines.
7. Verify finished workpiece dimensions with measuring tools.
8. Optional: weld and anneal saw blades.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and job orders.
• Basic computer skills for navigation and data entry.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must use both hands to control equipment and materials.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not available.
