Ascent Aerospace is seeking a Saw Operator to cut, kit, and process raw materials to meet customer specifications. You will deburr, label parts, and record heat numbers while maintaining proper material tracking and traceability during manufacturing.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and prior experience in manufacturing. ITAR compliance and U.S. person status are required for this role, with the potential for local travel within industrial sites.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Saw Operator is responsible for cutting, kitting, and processing raw materials to meet customer specifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Cutting material to specifications of cut list.
• Break sharp edges (deburr), removing FOD.
• Labeling each detail with required information.
• Recording material heat numbers.
• Keep track of the materials to be cut and material use.
• Documentation of A numbers for material-job tracking for id and traceability.
• Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

• HighSchool diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• This position must meet Export Control Compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22.C.F.R. is required. For further details as to how a "U.S. Person" is determined, please see SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS below!

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• May be required to travel to other site locations during the workday and would primarily be local during the business day. However, some projects may require overnight stays as well as out-of-the-area travel.
