SUMMARY: Treyco Manufacturing Inc custom engineers, fabricates, and installs Asphalt and Concrete plants and equipment for our customers all over the country. We are seeking a candidate who is able to safely set up and operate an industrial saw accurately per the dimensions provided on the cut list. This candidate must be detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, and have problem solving skills. This candidate must have the willingness to learn the steel industry.

SUPERVISOR: Plant Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up the saw and make adjustments as needed per the cut list.
• Use measurement tools to ensure cuts are accurate.
• Cut materials to the dimensions provided on the cut list accurately.
• Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner per the company’s safety policy.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug test.
• Assist in other areas in the shop when needed, including but not limited to welding, receiving, inventory, and other machine operations as need.
  
  

PHYSCIAL ABILITIES:

• Stand, squat, kneel, and climb
• Able to work in hot and cold temperatures
  
  

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT:

• The ability to use tools such as a hammer, tape measure, square, wire brushes, slag hammers, and scrapers.
• The ability to use equipment such as overhead crane, band saw, and forklift.
  
  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Must be able to understand miter cuts.
• Must have basic Math skills.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team.
• Detail and deadline oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
