Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Second shift position with training being conducted on first shift 6 AM - 2:30 PM (with possible overtime).

• Provides quality service by following organizational standards.
• Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Conduct routine quality checks on in process products.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance and preparing needed material for process.
• Troubleshoot capabilities & issues with saw to ensure proper cuts.
• Assist winder operator with changeover processes.
• Load cores onto pallets/carts according to size, shape & type.
• Promotes clean area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
