Saw Operator – Full-Time | Second Shift (3:30p - 12:00a M-F)

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and precise Saw Operator to join our production team on the second shift (typically 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately cutting and processing materials using advanced saw equipment, ensuring both quality and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical documents such as blueprints and job orders to determine material needs and cutting specifications.
- Select and retrieve appropriate materials based on job requirements.
- Safely set up and operate saw machinery.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on completed parts using various measurement tools to confirm dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments and team members to maintain seamless production flow.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, maintaining a clean, organized, and secure work area.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience operating digitally controlled saws is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and accurately using measurement tools.
- Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, crouch, or kneel for extended periods.
- Capable of regularly lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and hearing protection.
