Job description

Job Summary:

The duties of this position are performed to trim the unusable portions of the completed honeycomb blocks after production processing. This section of the block is needed during prior processing.



Summary of Duties

Remove honeycomb blocks from the frames after the coating and curing processes are complete

Dismantle frames, relocate and store per requirements

Load the block to the saw table with forklift and secure to the table

Label the block with the required lot number using the appropriate labeling method

• Operate the saw to trim off the unusable section of the block

• Remove trimmed block and store in appropriate area

• machine to work order specified dimensions and palletize completed panels for shipping.

• Other tasks include completion of production documentation, quality control and housekeeping activities

Requires little to no experience, but requires willingness to learn and perform to standard expectations

Conducts routine tasks as directed

Minimal supervision with some latitude for independent judgment

Participate in operational improvement activities

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Prior manufacturing experience preferred
Computer Skills:
Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). All employees are expected to utilize company email and other company business applications.
Other Skills:
Must be willing to work as a team member
Effective oral and written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate.

Additional Preferred Skills:
Forklift operation certification and operation may be required.
Position requires some heavy lifting with mechanical and human assistance
