Finkl Steel in Detroit, MI is hiring a Saw Operator (Full-Time). You will operate and maintain saw equipment to cut materials to exact specifications, and interpret work orders, blueprints, and diagrams to determine cut dimensions.

We seek candidates with tape measure reading skills, basic math ability, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and crane/forklift certification. The role offers a safety-first, hands-on, team-oriented environment with 40–50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong basic math skills for measuring and calculating.
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment use and maintenance.
• Attention to detail for quality control and inspection.
• Overhead crane experience or certification required.
• Forklift experience or certification required.
• Experience with milling machines or similar equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities
