Saw Operator Position Summary:
The Saw Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of Amada and other sawing equipment—including cold saws, bandsaws, and hot saws—to cut raw materials to specification in support of production. This role also encompasses receiving and organizing incoming materials, performing routine equipment maintenance, and ensuring cut stock is accurately accounted for in the ERP system. By maintaining strong attention to detail and safe work practices, the Saw Operator ensures the shop floor has the right material, in the right quantities, ready for machining.
This position is well‑suited for a detail‑oriented individual with a basic knowledge of metals and plastics who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and keeping production moving. The Saw Operator works closely with the Warehouse, Production, and Quality teams and reports to the Shop Supervisor.
