Machine shop Saw Operator.

Duties

• Cuts materials using various types of saws as required by shop router and blueprints.
• These will primarily be large metal tubes and square tubes.
• Must be able to read measurements, work off of blueprints and designs
• Take the finished product back and store properly.
• Using large table saw for cutting large metal material.
• Replaces dull or damaged saw blades and lubricates machine.
• Verifies dimensions of stock cutting and accuracy of cuts with blueprint.
• Keeps work area neat and clean.
• Works in accordance with OSHA Safety Regulations.
• Holds responsibility for wearing proper safety equipment in required areas.
• Follows the scheduling systems.
• Receives material per procedure.
