Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Bryan, TX is seeking a dedicated Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform saw operations, measure materials, and contribute to production efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires reading tape measures, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; candidates should be able to stand for long periods and operate computerized equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read and utilize a tape measure.
• Must know basic math.
• Must be able to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Must be able to stand/walk on concrete for long periods and operate in a heavy-lifting environment.

Responsibilities

• Saw operation as part of the manufacturing process.
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning.
• Ensure overall quality of work produced.
• Read and interpret written instructions and measurements; use a tape measure and basic math.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.

We are seeking a dedicated Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bryan, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various production operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the overall manufacturing process efficiency.

• Saw operation
• Fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Ensures overall quality of work produced
• must be able to read and utilize a tape measure
• must know basic math

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”
• Ability to lift 50pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Able to convert fractions to decimals
• Ability to read and interpret common written instructions
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• Will require standing, walking, and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of timeA high school diploma or GED preferred
