Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Caldwell, ID, is seeking a manufacturing operator to support production lines, read production orders, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires forklift operation, strong teamwork, and the ability to work 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday; full-time employment with comprehensive benefits starting day 1.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Cover and band stacks of wall panels.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operates machine and instructs line help to safely meet production, customer, and company goals and requirements.
• Support company Core Values, participate in Safe Work environment, and completes observations.
• Read and understand a production order.
• Meet company productivity requirements.
• Meet company and customer quality requirements.
• Use forklift, crane, and manual handling of materials, complete proper documentation for materials produced.
• Good communication with Team, Supervisor, and Management.
• Maintain promotability to Operator II and Operator III.
• Standing and walking 8 to 12 hours every day.
• Repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders.
• Varying and extreme working conditions outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine).

JOB DETAILS

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00AM-4:00PM, Monday - Friday

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 65lbs. repetitively
• Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift
• Must be able to tolerate high temperatures in the summer months
• Noise level is moderate to loud
