Job summary

Kraft Energy Systems Inc is seeking a detail-oriented operator to set up and operate a power saw for cutting various stock sizes. You will follow standard work procedures and blueprints, using operation sheets to guide each job, under supervision.

Ideal candidates have some experience with power cutting equipment and measuring metal stock, with training provided to qualify further. You may also operate other machines and perform secondary duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Some prior experience using power cutting equipment.
• Experience measuring various sizes of metal stock.
• Ability to follow standard work procedures and blueprints.

JOB SUMMARY:

Works under the general supervision of supervisor or leader following standard work procedures with access to verbal direction in case of doubt. Sets up and operates power saw to perform cutting operations on various sizes of square, round, angle or tubular stock. Follows standard operating procedures following operations sheets and blueprints. May be required to operate other machines or perform other secondary duties while performing primary duties. Experience: Some prior experience in using power cutting equipment, measuring various sizes of metal stock, plus up to one month of job experience for qualification.
