Job summary

Weyerhaeuser's Holden, LA lumber facility is seeking an entry-level saw filing associate to support saw filing activities and preventive maintenance. The role requires safely filing and maintaining circular and band saws, calibrating equipment, and ensuring performance within mill safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are willing to work night shifts and weekends, and demonstrate strong safety, communication, and problem-solving skills.

This position works with our saw filing team performing saw filing activities for our state-of-the-art lumber manufacturing facility in Holden, LA. The successful candidate must have at least one year of expertise in safely filing and maintaining circular saws and/or band saws, machine alignment, maintaining saw filing equipment, and preventive maintenance procedures including the ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear/damage and recognize unsafe conditions.

• Ability to effectively team with others while implementing process changes in a rapid-pace work environment
