Weyerhaeuser's Holden, LA lumber facility is seeking an entry-level saw filing associate to support saw filing activities and preventive maintenance. The role requires safely filing and maintaining circular and band saws, calibrating equipment, and ensuring performance within mill safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are willing to work night shifts and weekends, and demonstrate strong safety, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience filing and maintaining circular and/or band saws.
• Experience sharpening/benching Round Saws; Blade Saw a plus.
• Experience with filing shop equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Knowledge of mill safety processes and internal quality control.

Responsabilidades

• Safely file and maintain circular and band saws in a mill environment.
• Maintain saw filing equipment and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support machine alignment and equipment calibration activities.
