Job summary

Weyerhaeuser is seeking an entry-level team member to support saw filing operations at our wood products facility. You will file circular and/or band saws, maintain filing equipment, and monitor machines for wear and alignment while prioritizing safety and quality.

The role requires reliability, strong communication, and adaptability within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, be able to work night shifts and weekends when needed, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be willing to work night shift and weekends when required.
• Experience with saw filing in a mill environment is essential.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow mill safety processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience sharpening/benching Round Saws is preferred.
• Knowledge of calibration, maintenance, and machine alignment is needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform filing on circular and/or band saws with care and precision.
• Maintain and calibrate saw filing equipment and tools.
• Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and unsafe conditions.
• Follow all mill safety processes and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team to implement process changes quickly and effectively.
